The Liberaal Archief is open Monday to Friday, from 9 to 12 am and from 1 to 5 pm. The building is closed during the second half of July.

Admission is free. A scientific advisor is at the disposal of the readers. The collections can only be consulted in the reading room. Borrowing is not allowed, yet photocopies can be made, always provided legal restrictions.

The Liberaal Archief is located in the former school building on the Kramersplein, near the Sint-Pietersplein and the Overpoortstraat. Parking facilities in the immediate neighbourhood of the building are available. You can reach the Liberaal Archief by public transport from the central train station (Sint-Pietersstation) with buses 28, 34, 35, 36, 55, 57, 58, 65, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 76, 77 (bus stop Heuvelpoort).
