The library of the Liberaal Archief is one of the richest in Belgium on liberalism. Presently it contains over 34,000 titles.

The collection includes historical as well as recent titles. It mainly covers liberalism in Belgium but also in other European countries and the USA. Subjects like anticlericalism, the Flemish movement, education and the school conflict in Belgium are well represented.

In the reading room there is a reference library available with titles on Belgium history, the Flemish movement, and with biographic worktools.

The library of the Liberaal Archief is accessible with LIBIS-Net. The iconographical collections are also progressively imported in LIBIS-Net.
